The Mankind Project is a nonprofit organization that supports men’s personal development through training, peer support, and community building.

To create a safer world by growing “better” men — men who are emotionally mature, accountable, and committed to living lives of service, integrity, and authenticity.

We envision a world where men act on their individual and shared responsibility for the future of humanity by initiating personal growth, fostering deep community, and modeling emotionally intelligent masculinity.

The Mankind Project was founded in 1984 by Rich Tosi, Bill Kauth, and Ron Hering. It emerged as a response to the lack of support for men seeking emotional and spiritual growth. The organization's flagship training, the New Warrior Training Adventure, has helped initiate over 75,000 men worldwide.
