The O'Brien Dennis Initiative (OBDI) is a nonprofit organization focused on addressing the challenges faced by intersex, transgender, and non-binary individuals through advocacy, education, and community engagement.

History and Background

Founded by O’Brien Dennis, an intersex and human rights activist, the Initiative was established to address the systemic neglect and discrimination faced by intersex people, especially in the Caribbean and African diaspora. Inspired by his lived experiences, Dennis created OBDI to provide a platform for advocacy, education, and healing.
