National Fatherhood Initiative is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and equipping fathers and organizations with tools and resources to improve father involvement and strengthen families.

To increase father involvement by equipping communities and human service organizations with the father-engagement training, programs, and resources they need to be father-inclusive.

Founded in 1994, National Fatherhood Initiative was established in response to the rising rates of father absence in American families. It has since become a leading voice and resource for promoting responsible fatherhood through community collaboration, public awareness, and professional training.

NFI has distributed millions of resources across thousands of organizations, reaching over 8 million fathers and families. Their evidence-based programs have been implemented in all 50 states and have helped reduce recidivism, improve parenting skills, and strengthen father-child relationships.
