Established in 2008, GEN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering collaboration among nonprofits, volunteers, public officials, and concerned citizens to promote gender equity and human rights at all societal levels.

History and Background

GEN was initiated by a coalition of organizations and individuals committed to addressing gender disparities and promoting human rights. They've mobilized over 130 members to pursue gender equality and facilitated dialogues and research to influence policy and legislation benefiting women and girls.
